The BBC reports on the killing of villagers by Government of terrorism (SPAM) of Nepal:


Nepal Maoists 'kill 10 villagers'

Police in Nepal say that Maoist rebels have killed 10 villagers in an attack about 300km (185 miles) south-west of the capital, Kathmandu.

Another seven people were hurt in the attack, which took place in the village of Shobhani in Nawal Parasi district.

A police spokesman said there were reports that the Maoists had killed the villagers to punish them for not supporting the rebel cause.

More than 11,000 people have died in the Maoists' nine-year insurgency.arties, taking emergency powers he said would allow him to defeat the Maoists.
