we saw janjati demanding quota few days earlier.everybody seems to be asking for a place. now few woman organisation are asking for 50% quota everywhere. i think they already have 33% in assembly. DO YOU AGREE WITH THIS DEMAND? my point is : 1. do we have enough women to fill 50% everywhere? 2. Is there enough skilled women in every field to fill up 50%? 3. Providing 50% quota means , the women number may rise up to even 60-70% while men cannot above 50% 4. There are far more illieterate women in nepal than men. 5. will skilled person will miss out chance in an effort to fill up by unskilled women? OR SHOULD THE DEMAND BE MORE IN EDUCATION WOMEN AND ABOLISHING QUOTA SYSTEM? on the contrary, if women are so behind men in nepal if they are not given chance (quota) they may never come ahead. what would you guys think ?

i totally agree with you...i think 33% was already enough looking at the position of women in Nepal. I do not think its a good idea to risk the development of the country in order to develop female quota, only because Nepal does not have enough qualified women yet...female quota on education system would work better..thats true! nepali kaanchhi

Designations needs to be based on qualification and experience, be that a man or a women. substantual validity is much imp than quantitative.

Though i am not against Quota system entirely for the upliftment of underprivillged .The Quota sytem has proven to be ineffective most of the time. -Quota system acknowledge few are inferior to another.Do we want to give that impression .for that matter we are admitting that we consider other inferior.Ok that was just talk.. -Quota system diminshes the competitativeness that there should be. -Underprivileged people are more relax and are not eager for their own upliftment. -Often the Govt. Sleeps after giving quota system and do not recongnize the over all upliftment from the root. Example of Quota system:Recently India parliament passed 66% reservation for dalits in Medical institution..how fair is it to hardworking students ..the only fault was they were born in so called higher caste??? The medical instutution is of serious nature , undeserving students getting into the area ,creates poor quality of that sector. Woman in Nepal demanding 50% ..well in that series we have 50% for woman and 50% for dalits ..hahahahah rest can relax... Grijia and makune out of work ..hahaha
