Nice name...
Yum Yum.....BUT--A BIG BUT

I thought the price is kind of high. may boston is very very expensive...
I was looking at one dish in particluar--it says simple daal, bhaat, tarkari...and the cost about $16 something...

Is it targeted towards students or those who makes a good living?

Congratulations Anyways..

Hmmmm...really? I dont know if you are using your real name as the Sajha user name, but if it IS your real name...then I might know you too! I went to school with a guy named Sirish in Nepal.

I hope this restaurant does not use the same base/sauce to every other curry.

The same sauce makes it hard to distinguish between chicken and mutton.

exactly, the damn sauce makes the meat taste like Chikhasi ( chicken + khasi), they both taste the same.

anyways, i thinkg 16 bucks is way too much.

May be their target population is not poor Nepalese.....

but why would they advertise in Sajha?? Hmmm
did not mean Sajha visitors are poor ;-)

Om does not do any publicity in Sajha because their customers are from different category.

uffff!!! it's not expensive at all!! do you see how much you get for Daal, Bhat and Tarkari meal: you get like rice, lentils, a vegetable dish, goat curry, pickles, salad and dessert.
It's a full meal!! seriously i mean if you were to go order that much in any other resturant it would be over 20 bucks!!
I think it's not that expensive at all compared to like i don't know a chinese or a japenese resturant ke!! ufffff!! :S

I think if you are gonna dine out in Boston, you have to be prepared to spend around 20 bucks per person. If you wanna go to a fancier place, then spend more. I think this 16 bucks price tag is throwing everyone off. Its how much you would pay if you get a thaali from some Indian restaurants.
Heck, you would pay this much even if you order one pasta meal in some North End place. As it is a complete meal, I actually find it to be on the cheaper side. Besides, rest of the meal looks reasonably priced to me. It just opened yesterday, so I guess its too early to ask for the review...but please leave your feedback if you happen to go there before the weekend. I cant make it before saturday :-((

A friend of mine (and her Indian relatives) decided to go for Sunday Buffet at Kathmandu Spice. The Goat curry was superb. The plain SAAG tasted like "Pachai-cha" (Rayo).

I liked the food preparation so called Nepali Lunch than their fusion thingy. It would have been better if they prepared the chicken in Nepali way than using Indian Restaurant style sauce with no Yoghurt or Cream base, but just plain.

My friend's Indian relatives liked all the food but found Basmati rice, a some what different variety. They like "WO" and even taught them how to make.

The initial batch of Halluwa was good but the freshly made one was not as good as previous one.

I liked क्बाटी too.

The food was not spicy at all compared to my first experience and even my daughter enjoyed the food who is a picky eater.

My friend's relatives had two very noisy children who kind of spoiled the environment and also broke a utensil. They got embarrassed and said, "this is the reason why the Americans leave therif children with baby sitter.

This is my friends third visit to the place and suggested that they should employ some one to oversee just the dining area and food serving area so that no containers remain empty for long period of time.

Looks like my visits to Minado (Japanese Seafood ) will be decreased.

I did not pay for the lunch as my friend paid for all. We also got complementary tea (good one)
