Thanks for starting this thread hero.
I'm planning to go to Canada once I finish my studies.
Do u have any idea how long it takes for the processing? I've heard that it takes years if u apply from nepal (I heard that the time for application processing depends on where you are applying from, is it true?) Any experienced Nepali migration agent are you in touch with? Please share your ideas.

Thanks

PS
Link to the websites do not work . . . .

Go to groups.google.com and search for immigration canada. Here's the direct link: http://groups.google.com/group/misc.immigration.canada?lnk=gschg&hl=en

You can search within the group for any particular keyword(s). Most likely, you will find the answer you are seeking. Even if not, register and post your query, someone will answer (folks there are quite cooperative), unless you ask outlandish question or you are rude.

Of course, there is always: http://www.cic.gc.ca/

Good luck.

Namaste!

Those of you looking for your bright future and permanent resident in canada must know that your journey from the very beginning with be a tough one, if you want to do it all alone and beleive in yourself that YES? i can do it. Therefore lot of patience, self study and wise steps are required.

My first tip for you is before you apply:
1. get all the adequate information ( through internet you can do it)
As much as time you will spend in preparing yourself it will determine your success.

The basic thing in immigration is to know, what you need, when u need, from where, etc.

On top the requiremet is you got to have 15 years of full time study, like graduation or bachelors degree in any field.

REMEMBER, try not to hire any agent, Agent are taking huge money only for the information that they provide you! You guys are educated, You got to use ur skill here now. Even if in some extent you want an agent before dealing with him check if has membership with the Goverment Association of Canadian Immigration. If not dont go on with the agent.

If you like to know about point system, let me know i will explian throughly.

And daju-bhai, didi-bahini, i encourage you to share your valuable knowledge or experience, it may benefit either one or another person reading our messages-thanks.

DEAR RAI JI,

yEs, If you are graduated you can apply. it all depends on points, you can do the self assesment through www.gic.gc.ca website and see how many points do u get, if u get 67 points, hip hip hurrey, go on brother!!

DEAR Saphal ji, The average time of approval or any result of the file is 24 to 36 months except for US citezens and or some europian citizens. however some people find themselves very lucky to get their results just after nine months or so on.

no the fees is not refundable unless you want to withdraw your file, only in this case your money will be returned. whether your file is approved or rejected your canadian 550 doller is finish.

Thank you, wish you real saphalta.
