Well Mdogg

look at the facts in the late 80's and early 90's janaganana (Census) the muslim population was estimated to be 1% today it is estimated (*not official) to be from 5-10% this is mostly due to illegal immigration from neighboring countries.
1. today they are demanding representaion in the government on the basis of religion not on the basis of being a citizen ( giving benefit of doubt they are legitimate citizens)
2. tomorrow they want separate laws for muslims based on shari'a ie 4 wives, etc etc
3. when they reach about 20% in population like in india riots and nuisance will be a weekly phenomenon
4. already they own the heart of katm on fridays if you know what i mean

i believe in freedom of religion only as long as the others also follow it otherwise it will be a suicide

Islam is a cult not a religion it should have never left Arabia

Nepali Muslims want their voices heard like any of the other minorities. As long as we hear them out, give them a voice and keep them engaged in the national political process, the better our chances of combating radicalism in the community. The same goes for the aspirations of other ethnic groups in Nepal. The key to defeating ethnic extremism is inclusion. History has shown that at the end of the day the average minority voter in Nepal - or many other places in the world - is more likely to vote on bread and butter issues than on ethnic pride unless something really bad has been done, usually by the majority community, to hurt the pride and dignity of the minorities eg exclusion from power, marginalization from society etc

Most indications so far show that Nepal's Muslims are moderates and I hope we all stay that way.

i don't mind the growing muslim community in nepal, as long as they are nepali, and not extremists and illegal immigrants from bangladesh and pakistan or somewhere else, they should be deported ASAP. as we can see Islam can be a peaceful relgion as in countries like malaysia, indonesia, and brunei.

Also mulims wanting to be in political party, that is totally wrong,, no religious groups should be included in parliament, Its the quality of the people who can enter the parliament, not the religion..

In conclusion I hope the politicians will do something about these radical muslims who have no common sense, education, they have to be dealt with as quickly as possible,

But we do want peace lover muslims and their anticipation on our healthy economy.
