When i was a teenager,i didn't really question, challange or rebel against my parents or teachers very much. I was raised in a religious family and indoctrinated to follow authority blindly.I usually obeyed my authoritarian parents and followed their rules without much disagreement. i didn't really begin to raise question or think for myself until i was an adult, after going to college. Consequently, in my late 20s, many of my traditional beliefs and ideas changed. After that, i often disagreed with my parents about political and religious issues. ven now, the only way we can enjoy our time together is to avoid arguing about religion or politics. I love and respect my parents, but i think some of their attitudes, beliefs and opinions are crazy!
How about you? What was your experience as a teenager? Were you rebellious or agreeable, question and accepting of authority? Did you ever argue with your parents or teachers?Did you ever challenge their expectations? What rules did u defy or issues did you clash over? Was there peace or turmoil in your home, and why?

"What was your experience as a teenager?"

~ I am still a teenager( well, at least that's what I would like to believe). So I won't be able to answer all these questions that are in PAST tense

Teenage is the time when everybody expects you to behave like an adult but none treat you like an adult. Hence, some turmoil is natural at that stage of life.

I had to prove i could put forward my ideas/suggestions contradicting/supporting theirs after like many trials ! LOL , thats how you make believe them that you are no more a teenager, but an adult!

or else if you cant prove, ask them to find a girl and then marry! :P
