I believe it's different then other country. I am sure that Canadian does not have go American Embassy to get visa and they will get F1 stamp at port of entry. Thanks, Sagun

To my knowledge you are consider as a foreign student at your college but about the visa they will stamp you at the order. Your best bet is to call the international student advisor where you have been accepted and he should be able to guide you through. Sorry Could not be any help here Good Luck
