http://www.bitdefender.com/ use bitdefender's online virus scanning.no need to download. but you need Internet Explorer, doesnot work with Mozilla.

Why does AVG suck? I've never had any problems with it. Let me know if you've had any bad experiences and if I should switch to another one.

Just three steps to make your PC safe and clean: 1. AVG is the best i guess! it is free, light, smart and enough for your personal use. 2. Also use Zone Alarm firewall (free version). It is simply cool. Informs you anything that is trying to access your machine. 3. Get Registry Mechanic to repair registry conflict, memory optimization etc.. (An user posted "something" very useful on sajha about registry Mechanic, couple of weeks earlier" - search and read that post..'). Next tip: 1. Try avoiding trial version stuffs, as you have to uninstall it later and it causes lots of registry conflict..- a major source of program crash or slow performance of computer. 2. Dont install - unnecessary toolbars (yahoo, googles, etc..) and programs that you dont use.. 3. And dont surf "those cheap sites ;)" ... ;) ~ BM
