The car company will charge loan insurance if the person is under 25 years old no matter what the total loan value-your calculator should display a message if this fee applies(a flat amount of $1000). The interest is calculated on the balance outstanding at the beginning of each year and credited to the loan amount to be repaid at this time.
Whilst the repayments are made monthly they will not affect the interest paid in any one year.
Justin does not want to be in debt for more than 10 years and so your calculator will need to either show how many years it will take to repay the loan if it is under 10 years or display a message telling Justin to reconsider as it will take over 10 years to own his dream car.
