British Council to close 10 offices in Europe

London, Feb 26 (Xinhua) The British Council is all set to close 10 of its 19 offices in Europe and promote its presence in the Muslim world, including countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nepal, media reports said Monday.

The state-funded council, which aims to promote British culture overseas, will close its offices in Austria, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia and Slovenia in the coming years, said Martin Davidson, the body's director-general designate, reported The Times.

does that mean "muslim countries AND nepal" ?? kinda confused!!

Many british would deny though but l some british do tend to see muslim as terrorist. probably they have grouped nepal in such country.

I don't think there's any such motives in case of Nepal ... could be muslims or any other religins countires .......... to show their presense !
