Two die in road accident

Two persons were killed when a truck met with an accident at Abukhaireni area on the Prithivi Highway in Tahaun district Saturday morning.

The truck heading towards Pokhara from Hetauda skidded off the road and plunged into the river, killing one person on the spot. Another person died while being rushed to Pokhara for treatment, according to reports.

Six die in Nawalparasi road accident

At least six persons were killed and dozen others injured when a jeep met with an accident near Daldale area in Nawalparasi district Sunday afternoon.

The packed jeep on its way to Daldale from Dedgaon, Nawalparasi, skidded off the road and fell into a gorge killing six passengers on the spot, reports quoting the Kawasoti Ilaka Police Office said.

The injured passengers have been taken to Parasi for treatment.

Following was an earlier accident in Nepal which was also blamed on Reactionary Mandale forces. SPAM warlords have taken no action as yet to compensate the victims.

The death toll in a bus accident near Kurintar reached 15 after two more persons succumbed to their injuries.

Thirteen people had died on the spot while 31 passengers were injured. The bus was heading to Birgunj from Kathmandu when it fell into the Trishuli river in the Prithvi highway.

The bus with registration number Na 3 Kha 2141 fell 150 feet into the river near Kurintar, according to reports.

The accident occurred at around 1 am midnight at the Daharechowk VDC of Chitwan district.

Here little Kids used by the SPAM warlords were killed in a road mishap. The Hindu Fundamentalists were blamed for the accident and the deaths.

Two Maoist cadres died and 30 others were injured in a road mishap at Triveni area in Udaypur district on Tuesday night.

The mishap occurred when a bus carrying Maoist cadres from a mass meeting in Janakpur met with an accident at Triveni village development committee VDC-4 of Udayapur district at around 8:30 pm on Tuesday.

The dead have been identified as 17-year-old Minasari Rai and 13-year-old Janaki Adhikari. Rai died on the spot while Adhikari died on the way to hospital.

Of the 30 injured, seven critically injured are undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan and the remaining 25 are being treated at Lahan Nursing Home.
