It looks like we have people here that are interested in Room to Read. Their website is www.roomtoread.org. I am trying to get more involved in the project as I know few people that have started a chapter and do a regular fundraising. It is a very worthy cause.

If anyone is interested to donate to Room to Read, donate through one of the chapters than a direct donation at their website. Usually the chapters have some sort of corporate sponsorship that will match any money the chapter raises. So if you donate $25, Room to Read gets $50. You can find the funraising events in their website.. Pretty much every major city has a chapter.

Another benefit of going to the fundraising is that you'll be able to network with many successful people. Most of the people that will be in the event already know about Nepal and they'll be happy to see a Nepali too. These are people that are successful in their professional life. It will help you too because you can build relationships and connections with successful people.

Usually the entry fee is $25.
