Why not book a hotel throught the internet if you don't know anyone over there.. and btw Montreal is close to where I live, there's a highway that goes straight to Montreal from here but the thing is it'll take a day? ;P
And it's good that you only have to stay for 2 days, if you had to stay more than that, you'd have to learn french, lawl, no one speaks English over there but seriously, Montreal is a beautiful place!
