Hey Admins
You have made a wonderful forum to gather Nepalese community. However why are you nowadays so mercenary and just running after money ?

You are degrading your quality by advertising sites like singles.net and blah blah.
Time to think for you !!!

Dear Sangfroid,

Thanks for bringing it up. I had applied to the ads network that would serve ads on sajha. I was not aware that they would serve the singles net ad on sajha most of the time. It is not the intention of sajha to advertise such sites hence I have removed that ad placement.

Regarding running after money, I don't think that is accurate. All of the businesses have contacted sajha in order to run banner ads: I have only obliged in few cases when the businesses have shown a strong interest in placing banner ads. If anyone possibly makes financial benefits after having a banner promotion on sajha, then it makes sense that they pay a little banner fee. Although there are more banner ads, none of the ads are intrusive such as pop up banner ads or any irritating 'skip this ad' full page banners. I like to stress more on a smoother user experience than compromise it for few ad cents here and there.

Sajha has continuously ran free banner ads for events organized by non profit organizations and other community organizations for over 5 years. Starting this year, if any organization is charging a fee for the events then a small fee will be levied for running any banner ads. This will enable sajha to be able to participate in other social activities.

Sangfroid and Bajeko Sekuwa I appreciate your comments because it gives me a chance to explain the reality of the situation. I hope you understand that sajha is not here for commercial purpose, but if anyone wants to promote their business through sajha then we'll have to cater to their needs as well.

Regards
