Can one apply for H1B visa and Green Card at the same time ? or Is there a time frame to apply for Greencard after getting H1B visa. Suggestions and experiences are highly appreciated.

You don't even need to have an H-1B to apply for GC. The order does not matter.

Cool. So is there a criteria for applying for H1B and GC at the same time? Guess no. Since I have seen lot of consultancies apply for H1B first and GC later(after some yrs). Is that due to the cost for applying both at the same time ?
