Can any one help me on how to embed the media player in asp.net  to play a sound file which is stored in Database as image or binary.

bro it is the html <object> element .. If you know the basic of html and asp.net. you should be able to change the parameter from the code.

i have a file that was playing in realplayer, how can i change the file to a wmv or mpeg or avi extension?

You Need to buy or download software to do that.
Some you can find free on the internet.
Search for RM to WMV convertor.

But my file is stored in database as image file or binary... so what will be the file url or name?
