My sis is goint to attend Uni. of North Alabama  spring of 2008. After reviewing this college, my gut feeling is saying its for the ppl who want to come usa by hook or crook. They made i-20 available without SAT but Toefl. I am confused because when i came. i gave SAT and toefl and have asked same to do to my sis but its going in deaf ears. I am the one who will be footing bills for her tution. I do not want my hard earn money go in drain at the same time i do not want to dissapoint my sister. If anybody know anyone who have attended UNA plz let me know more info regarding that college. I.personally don't know anyone who have attended that college. Response in need asap.

why don't you send your sister to Harvard, MIT, USC, UCLA, DUKE, YALE, PRINCETON OR OTHER IVY LEAGUE COLLEGE.....

Don't get despaired with some boorish dropings. Sometimes people get affected of poor mentality and consider themselves so called champions, lets ignore them. I hope somebody will come up with some good suggestions to you but I am sorry that I am ignorant abt UNA

I really don't think it matters to which University she comes to...as long as she gets Visa. Once she comes to USA , She can transfer anywhere you like her to transfer to after her 1st semester. In my openion, if she comes to a place where there are more Nepali already, it s better. Within few days/months she will learn a lot of things from other Nepalese...i.e how you have to work...speak ...study...and the life style. This is kind of positive in my openion. I am speaking this from my experience.

And after a semester she can transfer to a University with name/fame like you advised. It's not like she cannot get her classes transferred as long as she had taken General Courses that she would need in any other University.

Just my 2 cents.
