What do you need? I am an alumni who also lives in Chicago. As far as I know, there is no one there right now, but I may be wrong.

It depends. But its really expensive in chicago. Even you are full scholarship, then ( I m assuming u r leaving alone in chicago) also you have to spend around 1200$ per month for ur living expenses.

Casino. You are actually wrong. I lived in Chicago. 1 bedroom apartment costs about $900 (cheapest one you can find).

If you decide to have a roommate, a 2-bdrm apt is $1200. So, your share is about $600. With food, public transportation, utilities etc. will definatley put you at $1200.

You should do your research before you make any comments like above.

Casino...checkout the room in downtown, you wont find anything less than 800 (for single bedroom). And the travelling expenses as well as basic utilities, u will be paying around 200$ per month. What abt groceries, arenot u going to pay $200 per month. If you are working in any of the indian restaurant, then its fine, as they will let u bring the food at home.

Thanks lilo....By the way, where r u now??
