I am not sure about everyone but I was totally shocked by this Election outcomes. No one I know of here in US as well as back home , including some who are sympathetic towards Maoists, ever thought (or atleast mentioned) that they would win anything more than 40 to 50 seats. But then .... 111 already .... and 120 + is within reach easily !!!!  cann't explain it ...

I have now spoken with multiple people in different parts of Nepal and all have the same say that this was infact one of the cleanest elections conducted as Elections in Terai and the West and some in the east always used to affected by a lot of boot capturing and other intimidations. and very very low number (in compared to those) actually happened this time around "ON election day" . And even the cadres of the oppostion parties are now saying that this is how People voted...

Now I am seriously starting to think that most of the news that we were getting in regards to these Maoists in Nepal through various Newspapers and online blogs were infact Filtered News. ..None of them were mentioning the ground reality as it existed....Not sure if they simply didn't know themselves or were trying to do "Advocate Journalism"  too much and not sure on whose directions...
