Hi all! I was just wondering what is the font used in Sajha.com, mysansar and even hamroblog.com. Where can i download those fonts for Mac OSX?

Are you using firefox in Mac OSX? If yes, I suggest you use Safari browser that will render unicode Nepali font properly. If you are talking about some other font then please disregard this message.

I am using Camino ( Firrefox version in mac), i downloaded like 40 different Nepali fonts made for mac OSX which included kantipur, preeti etc etc. But none of them worked neither in safari nor in firefox.
But, i could not find the nepali unicode font made for mac, coz i think thats the font which is gonna work.

LinQ, is there certain settings to be changed in safari so that it displays nepali unicode correctly?

Well, I used mac for a year or two and I always had problem rendering Nepali Unicode using Firefox. So with enough googling I came to conclusion that Safari renders my Unicode and there is no mention about Firefox anywhere. I forgot what I did, but as far as I know, there was some language package I needed to enable from "system preference" or something... I think its in the disk that comes with the mac. I just moved to Ubuntu due to the stupid hardware crash on my MacBookPro at work, I hate mac, the hardware sucks btw. Safari served the purpose.

oh! i recently switched from Windows to Mac, and i am already in love with mac. I would not think i would ever go back to windows again unless i experience severe problems in my mac.
Anyways, that helps a lot. At least i can enable this unicode in safari
