                                                         gargi

Ok it was  the year 1987, I was i think 5 yrs old at that time. I have to admit i cannot validate the credibility of the time credentials as I am still confused to what exactly the month of the year i am in or more the exact date i am writing this story.I was sent to school at an early age so here i was a little young boy ready to pack my bag and get ready for my first day at school in namuna machindra school right there at lagankhel. I was really a neat freak in the past, not like now i have grown up to be a messy and carefree personality lol. I know lol will not be so appropriate word to be used in the story but once you are chatting so much it becomes a way of expressing yourself.

Ok back to the story i will make it short because i know most of you will not even read it. Ok so it was the first day of school and i had ironed my shirt real good u know one of those cutting blades along the armlength kinda way lol again. I had spent almost half an hour shining my new bata black shoes. and hard work had shown its effects , my shoes were shining like the gold on a rich  black female lady from nigeria. I was real nervous and scared as i was going to the total new strangeworld. And here i was at the door of my new class. Ok ok i was crying so the teacher took me and put me next to real nice little cute girl. Here i am still with wet tears in my eyes and guess what that little girl next to me do to me. The little cute devil looks at mah real shiny shoes and steps right on it. I was like what the heck...but since i was new i rubbed my shoes on back on my pants and try to console my hurt heart. Ok hurt heart i think that rhymes lol. but here she is the little devil steps on it again... i tried my desperate effort to revive the shine again... but it has too much dirt and stuff from her shoes it was looking worse.. now my emotions was all over me and then i stand up and told the teacher about what she just did. Then the teacher give her the punishment The punishment was to show the new guy around the school. I was like what kinda world i am in.. Am i going to be murdered in here or something.. Well the day didnot went that bad. She turn out to be pretty cool. She really showed me around school.. She also introduce me to some blind kids in the school. Her name was also really unique... i still remember it... It spells "GARGI". Now here we are two introduced good friends. We spend the rest of the year with lots of fun putting tails on the back of other clasmmates.. stepping on shiny shoes ... One day it was the parents day at school and she met my parents and according to my parents she was like talking abt me as if i was her bf boyfriend as in a friend who is a boy kinda way... You all might be all aware at that early age.. there's no emotional developments lol. But my parents ask her to get me and she was like running like a torpido came abt 10 mins to the playground grabbed my little hands and dragged me all the way up to my parents ... Then here it was an affair started everyone was teasing me as gargi's bf. well she did got my back on several occasions like giving me the lunch when i forgot mine n other kiddy stuff... Our relationship doesnot last that long since from grade two i left to vanasthali and she remained in namuna machindra. I still have the group nursery pic and there she is sitting next to me. I dunno where she is either she is even alive.... but well i would like to meet her one day .... hmmm what a absurd wish... But just like to post this cute little story... i don't actually call it a love story but its more like a friendship story.....coz i dont even remember much of the stuff we did together... but the unique name still is so clear in my memory... its GARGI.

Please give your sincere feedbacks I will appreciate it.

Nice story, this reminds me of my first day at school too. It was a strange day and i also remember it so well. But unlike others, i was thrilled to go to school at age 4. My mum tells me i would look at my school uniform and count the days to wear them for the first day at school.

When my father dropped me on the first day, i was so excited to step into the school even though i did not knew anyone. There were kids crying everywhere and me being always mature for my age was wondering why they are crying at school.

Then i met my friends both boys of my dad's friends who were in Grade 1, one year my senior and they showed me around and to my classroom.

In the evening, all three of us were supposed to wait for our mothers to come and pick us up from the gate and we waited at the gate with the caretaker of the school. She was such a strict women and was controlling all the kids at the gate and allowing them to only go with their parents. Some of the kids were crying even then. After waiting sometime, the three of us started getting little impatient as our mum's were not in sight and we were so naughty that when the caretaker was pacifying the sobbing kids, we decided to run away. We ran from her and she was following us behind - it was a sight. I was scared of getting caught and was really running fast and i saw my mum at a distance and ran towards her.The lady not surprising was furious at me and the boys and even till my 10th grade would remind me everyday how i ran on the first day of school. It was funny.

Sorry for getting carried away but reminded of of the days!

Awww thank you guys..... ty girlygurl fortunefaded and sheetalb. By the way fortunefaded I am really sad that you omitted your constructive remarks. I was highly appreciative of your sincere criticism honest and true. One thing is for sure, you cannot have higher expectations from the amateur storywriters like me.But i really liked your comment and hope you will repost it. Sincere criticism always motivates a writer to write with more passion and more delligence. I will drop more of my strange stories soon..

Here's one of the funny infatuation story i am going to tell you guys... Ok i was in vanasthali studying in the 10th grade. There was a real nice girl in another section of the same grade. In the lunch break i always used to go and see her. You know how much the first eye contacts are important for a lasting relationship. Ok I had a friend in her section so i didnot need any excuses to go to her class. I tried to hide the main motive in coming to my friend class, but it was not hidden no more. My all friends were talking about me . I thought  she also liked  me and thought she was looking at me all the time when i go to her class. But the real thundervolt strike me when one of my friends told me that she had something wrong with her eyes. She has what we call in nepali DEDE eyes lol  i mean like they are looking at something else and it feels like they are looking right at you. All my dreams were shattered like pieces of broken glass and well i quit going for the sightseeing but my friends keep teasing me for the rest of the year until slc about that wrong-eyed girl. I donot want to disclose her name coz that might be offensive and really rude.

PS:::No intention whatsoever to discriminate people with the eye disability discussed above ....its just that i thought she liked me but she actually didnot...its just her eyes that got me confused.... peace out lol

                                                                          "Weird driving incidents"

Well, the main event happened yesterday night and I would like to include one more incident that happened a few days back. I never drive drunk especially when the aftermath of DUI arrest is so depressing. Minimum of 1 year of license suspension and other fines on the first offence, I can assure you that I can in noway afford that scenario in the present context lol.

Well, Me and my haitian friend were returning from a local club at around 2 am in the morning. My haitian friend was driving and I was little tipsy and buzzed as my alchohal comsumption was almost to its limit. A white lady was driving on the next lane in an old white car.She was young, slim and beautiful white lady. She was driving alone. While on the road, driving in the same direction in two different lanes, I waved at her. I was excited when i saw her waved back at me. I told my haitian friend and well that fool was excited too. On the next redlight my friend pulled his car next to that white car. She looked at us, I waved at her again and well she waved back again. My friend did the hand signal of the phone in an desperate attempt to get her number. I rolled down my windows when I saw my friend signalling for the phone number. She nodded her head sideways in disagreement. Then  I heard her hollering at us.... "Sorry guys I am a lesbian(gay), I am not into guys". Then she drove away. We were laughing all the way back to our place haha.

Another short incident shows the temperment of the drivers on the road. I was behind one car in a redlight. I was almost late to work as always. Inside the car was an old white dude as I can see it in his back mirror. The lights turned green  and all the cars on the next lane were moving. But the cute old dude was in his own world, i waited for few seconds and after that blowed my friendly helping horn to help the sleeping old dude come back into the real world. You guys wouldnot believe what i got in return. The old dude flickered his middle finger at me at his back mirror. I raised my hand in reflex as if i ackknowledged his thank you. Then I realized that old dude just cursed me out with that rude hand signal lol. I was mad but it was too late old dude was already turning right on next intersection haha.

This for now guys.

Yours sincerely,
coolcetrix

                                            my grandpa's supernatural encounter
.

I will try make it short as I have nothing to do with the story and I dont remember all the details of the story too. I really liked that fupu of ours. One chilling story about the death of one of my family members long back still sends chills through my spine. I still donot have enough courage to write it down. Someday when i am drunk enough i will write it down . The story as told and what remembered by my amnesic(?) brain goes like this......

This is the encounter that our grandpa had long time back. My grandpa was real fond of catching fishes. He had a friend who used to come early in the morning and they both used to go fishing together. My grandpa used to have a nickname that the friend used to call him. That day, too my grandpa heard the same familiar voice in the dark calling him for the fishing trip. He loaded his fishing gear and followed his friend on the way to the nearby river. Well unlike the other days, my granpa's friend was acting real strange. He was moving infront of my grandpa in a regular pace. He didnot even wait for him like he used to. My grandpa tried to increase his pace to catch up with the friend but to no avail. When my granpa increased his pace, so did his friend. And it was dark enough that he could just see someone walking infront of him. He hollered at him to wait but seems like the friend was in a jolly mood. As they came near the river my grandpa felt  like his friend was getting taller and bigger. The eerie darkness around him and the supernatural stuff that my grandpa was witnessing didnot deter his passion of fishing... coz he arrived to the river . It was so dark and my granpa might be reasoning that he might be hallucinating lol or he might be actually fearless lol. According to our fupu the friend then was in the river and calling my granpa to join him in..The water was deep and was already about the height of my granpas belly. When he looked up to his friend the water seem to be around his knees.  He was calling grandpa to come more and more. Now my grandpa finally come to his senses and that he might be actually witnessing some supernatural thing trying to drown him in the river. He left the fishing gear in the river and ran as fast as he could back home not even turning his back once. He could hear his friends voice in the back calling him so ever  dearly with his nickname. The spiritual guru in the village later told grandpa that saved his life. I mean running back without turning his head back. According to the guru if he had turn back, his death was inevitable. The eerie thing about the whole thing is my granpa's friend was actually sick that day.He never come to call my granpa. After a week or so after all the spiritual guru stuff, he recovered from his mysterious illness..

Well, there you have it guys. The encounter of my granpa with the supernatural... Dont ask me any questions regarding the story. I put it out there for all of you as what i remembered from the story as per told by my fupu.

Yours sincerely,
coolcetrix

                                                            Close Encounter

Ok here's another scintillating event in my life. I was working in a convenience store at the time of the story.. Most of the customers were nice and even those who weren't nice try to be nice with me as i let them go for few cents lol. Well I recall lots of good friends in that store and I was pretty much stuck in that place. Well i was a engineering student so it was not ideal for my talent and qualifications.(if I had any). Well some educated fools beat the dumbest one's in stupidity. Ya i am talking about myself lol. Well, I was working there because it was easy to get your hands on and there was no physical stress. Once i get stuck somewhere I am stuck for a while.

Well, I was handling the night shift and there was a white dude who used to come  in the late evening to help me with the storage and cleaning stuff. After a good day of retail business, I was about to close down the store. It was around 11'o clock in the night. I was standing near the cash register and the white dude was standing right next to me. All of a sudden, from nowhere a guy came in with a skimask in his head. The first thought that strike my head, was why was the guy wearing a bandana?. I try to reason it that he might be to prevent oneself from the cold weather. But as he came inside, he was poiniting a hand gun directly towards us. The guy was white, short and skinny.I was like what the pineapple is this guy trying to do. He was screaming "Gimme the money!!" "Gimme the money". He had even brought a small plastic bag along with him. I was amused, shocked, spellbounded, amazed, terrified, bewildered, petrified... you guys choose the  word. I cannot even explain my emotions at that particular moment. I raised my hands and was standing still like the statue of liberty. The white dude was asking the robber to calm down. Then the robber got more agitated and he cocked his gun and was in ready to shoot mode. Well, the earth slide right away from my feet after that. I opened the register and emptied all the money in the bag. The robber was not satisfied. He jumped across the counter and held the gun at my neck. Well now I was in a total state of shock. I was the hostess at a convenient store held at gunpoint. He asked me to take him to the safe and put the money in there. I complied with his orders as a little lamb in Mary's little lamb. After that the robber jumped out from the counter and dissapeared in the thin air. I called 911 after that and police investigations proceeded but they were not able to catch the culprit. They sure were able to identify the gun was real just to add up to myfear. They also give the recorded videos to the public television and local news channels. BUt still they couldnot catch him. So it is still a mystery as to who it was so close to taking away my precious life. After that i was not satisfied with my job psychologically. Every skinny short white dude especially the new ones send me chills through my body. I was paying more attention to the robberies happening in the locality. Well I still worked there for few months and finally i quit the job.

The another thing worth mentioning is the emotional recollection of the event with the cops. I lived like a prince in Nepal in my own way and was never even pushed by anyone. And here I was, my life depending on the mercy of a twisted anonymous guy. I wonder what if he had pulled the trigger. Well,  it was a real psychotic episode and I was over it within a month. I was also saddened by the deaths of nepalese in Texas working in convenient store. I wish their soul rest in peace and like to send heartly condolences to the effected families. Well lots of nepalese in united states work in the stores nowadays, I pray to pashupatinath that no further mishaps will occur in Nepalese community.

Well, guys here you have it all, a scary recollection of my life. By the way I saw a lot of people reading the section but i donot find any comments. I will appreciate any comments nice/criticizing ones and the stories of your own too.

PS: Well : while I was reading my stories, i find lots of grammatical mistakes like wrong tense,  sentence structure, I will try to correct it when I have time.

Ok guys peace out..

Yours sincerely,

coolcetrix
