The Maoist will carry out revolt instead of kicking out PM Koirala from Baluwatar, Gajurel said addressing the first assembly of Nepal National Employees’ Association in Manthali VDC in Sindhuli Headquarters today.

He mocked King Gyanendra for carrying out religious rituals to destroy his enemies.

On the occasion, the senior Maoist leader claimed that the new Maoist-led government will reduce corruption cases by 50 percent by closing down all the channels of corruption once the issue of monarchy is dealt with.

Gajurel, who is also the chief of party foreign affairs bureau, reiterated that the Maoist will run the government without any help from the US.

Only yesterday, the senior Maoist leader had claimed that his party is capable of running the government in a smooth manner as Nepal has been getting more support from other countries than the US.

Gajurel’s remarks come at a time when the US has been saying that it will extend its support after assessing the actions of the new government.
