Another candidate for first president of Nepal, Kul Chandra Gautam, former Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations, and Deputy Executive Director of UNICEF.

Among all the candidates, Mr. Kul Chandra Gautam is the most eligible one for the President of Nepal.

I have heard that he is already an American citizen. I don't know the fact. Can anybody help out?

Yes, he is a very talented person. But I don't think he is a strong candidate for Presidency of Nepal in the present context.  Nepal is looking for a president like Prachanda so that people will be scared of burning tyres in the street. Pranchand has big dalbal to bring people under control but Kul Chandra doesn't have it.

Nepal has to wait at least one more decade to make person like Kul Chandra as the president. So let's not make discussion on this useless issue.
