Spain played very good. They did miss few more chances to goal. And German didn't play like they used to. Well, the deserving team won. Falicitades, Espana!

Oh yes i was happy for them though i wasnt morally supporting Spain at the beginning of the Euro cup. They did played extremly well dominating Germans entirely all over game and yea they did earn me couple of dollars. I was more happy for this old chap (coach of Spain). Hats off at the age of 64 he made Spanish dream come true after 4 decades.

Spain deserved the win and they did it in style. Fernando Torres justified the hype that was built about him. He should be more than happy that he could contribute the only goal that ended Spain's major tournament drought for 44 years. Spain looked a gelled team from the beginning of the tourney. They totally outplayed German in today's match.
Watched it and after the match was over, all I could say was WOW!
Great!

I am very happy that my team Spain won. This year the biggest loser is Ballack. He lost EPL, Champion's league and now Euro 2008. I feel pity for him. Sorry Ballack!!!!U r a complete loser!!!!!

Spain was the deserving team to be Euro 2008 champion.If u look at the history of every major soccer event, u will find out that Spain was always a good team, they just get unlucky in the knocked out stage. Germany in the other hand is a lucky and good team which manage to make it to semi finals and finals in almost all major events. Germans dominate soccer, its true.However,this time Spain managed to escape the eclipse in their triumph and got the title as they deserve this one after 44 years.Finally, Spain has something to be proud of,I am happy for Spain. ..u should be happy too if u dont like soccer dominated by only one counrty. .this brings competition alive. ..way to go Spain!
