TAPLEJUNG, Oct 21 - Status of Chandra Prasad Dangi of Ambegudin VDC-7 of Taplejung district, who was abducted in Iraq one month ago, is still unknown. Chandra Prasad had gone to Iraq for employment some nine months ago.
Family members of Chandra Prasad said that the kidnappers have demanded 10,000 euro as ransom. "The kidnappers had made Chandra Prasad call home the day after abduction to ask for the ransom," said Ratan Kumar Dangi, brother of Chandra Prasad. The Dangi family has urged the government to find the whereabouts of Chandra Prasad.
