This could be in a lot of places of Nepal, but I've seen this happen in Karnali. There was a theatrical performance in Gurukul titled "Karnali Dakhin Bagdo Cha" in which they did this on stage. And, they'd a scene in which a guy would actually fall from a height of about 12 feet. It was amazing!
