One of the clubs, in which  i am participatings in my college , wants to send Ambulance  to one of the remote villages of Nepal where there is no Ambualnce. Has any one any idea about the procedure for sending Ambulance to Nepal from United States? Our club doesnot want to send money instead we are trying to send Ambulance itself. Please give your suggestion....

laudable sentiment, but am sorry to say it is not practical.  Remote villages in Nepal don't have roads for an ambulance.  Even if that was not the case, sending a vehicle to Nepal would be insanely expensive...... unless, it is purchased in India and imported into Nepal tax free.  Furthermore, assuming you are able to bring the ambulance to Nepal, you will want to make sure that there is adequate governance controls in place to not allow any misuse or corruption.

Having said that, let me restate that it is an admirable idea.

Commendable effort.

I agree with Riten. Even maintenance of American made ambulance could be costly and availability of  part will make it a problem.

May be buying and donating an ambulance in Nepal may be more practical idea. If you need assistance of 501 c 3 let me know.
