Thanks for writing to Buzzintown. We appreciate your concern, and are thankful that such sensibilities still exist in this world.

At the onset, I would like to make it absolutely clear that Buzzintown has no intention of hurting anyone’s feelings. Jayhind!, for which Buzzintown is an online and media platform partner, is an epic comedy series, and is a worldwide rage ONLY for its edgy humor. It is direct, it is meant to be “in your face”. The producers do walk the treacherous line that someone somewhere may take it personally and feel hurt.

Speaking on behalf of the producers of Jayhind! regarding this particular video: the whole gag has been done to sensitize people about the racist attitude many of us Indians have towards people from Nepal. It is actually a spoof on the recently released very popular SRK movie… not on the individual Thapa in it! Most people miss the point.

At Buzzintown we certainly hope that humor may be one way of bringing such issues to light and dealing with them. I have forwarded your communication to the producers of the show.
