Dude, I don't understand why you created this thread ! If you can't do anything for Nepal, you don't have any rights to predict and say about Nepal. So Just shut the hell up. I just hate these kind of post which just spread hate.Nepal is in this present condition only because of the people like you who just quit when actually it needed the most and made bad to worst. I still hope we will make better Nepal.

First, please clarify how this picture spreads hate. Second, if these kids are not the future, then who they are. Third, I'm glad that you didn't quit Nepal and hopefully you're contributing to make it the best. I hope you're doing a lot more to Nepal than just shouting here.

I don't mean to offend anyone; I mean Nepal's future by the state of Nepal's kids who're Nepal's real future. I will keep on posting the sad pictures and post it here so that it keeps us motivated to give something back whenever we can and don't forget our past and don't forget the sad reality there.

I've watched 'Children of God' and 'The day my god died'. Glue-smelling children were also featured in CNN few weeks ago.

Here's the link:

The sad thing is that the abuse of the children is widespread in Nepal. Just this week, police tried to protect the abuser who ironed the kid working at his house. Another incident was mentioned in today's bbc nepali service where a police official mentioned the case of the house-owner hammering the fingers of the child worker in Kathmandu.

Is there a way that we (students studying abroad) can directly sponsor a
street kid in Kathmandu? Like, I want to pay for one street kid in Kathmandu for
his/her education and the stay at the school's hostel in Kathmandu? If I send
money to the agency or their parents (if they have one), I'm sure the money will
be eaten up by the agency or used by the parents in the household expense. I
want to pay the money directly to a school annually. If each Nepali living abroad contributes to one street children annually, I can guarantee, we can reduce the child suffering in Nepal greatly to some extent.
Jaya Nepal!!

Samata Niketan is one of the place which is doing the real praiseworthy work in Nepal. You can sponsor a children at that school which not only teaches but also feeds them. Besides that, we can go to teach english at these school if we get a chance while visiting Nepal. Another nobel work being done by an organization has a theme somewhat like 'Goat for a child'. If you pay $50, they'll buy a goat and a tharu kid would be saved from being 'Kamalari' or a maid at Kathmandu.

Another one is by Microsoft ex-employee John Wood's Foundation in Nepal (Room to read project) which is also helping a lot of kids in Nepal and around the world. There're tons of good works being done as well.
