Just curious if anyone has travelled out of country during OPT status and holding a job in an engineering firm. Yeah, the student VISA been expired.Any thoughts would be appreciated..! Have a good day guys!

Peolpe in your situation travel out side the USA however some say it is risky. If your student VISA has been expired then you need to get it before you come back to the USA.

if ur visa has already expired tht might cause u some problems, if not i have seem lots of frens coming back even if they dun have the fixed job, they were just doin volunteer job just to show uscis a paper

No matter what your status is, you need valid visa to come back to the United States. Since your visa has already expired, you will probably need to renew it.
