How much currency I can carry while travelling outside usa? You can carry less than USD10,000 any where you go outside US. If you carry USD10,000 more than that then there are some limitations and you need to follow the procedure. Declare the amount while filling a Currency Declaration Form provided by CPB. Then submit it to the custom officials. If you do not declare the amount they will know about it any how not only they will seize the amount, the officials will also charge you with fine. If you are travelling with gold bullions or credit card of worth $10 k there is no need to declare the money. For example if you are travelling to India the same procedure is applicable.
