Got in serious car wreck that was still in payment. It is in "total loss". I am sure I have to pay extra bucks to the bank even thoug I have GAP insurance to cover the gap between the total loss value and the amount left to pay the bank. I did not suffer big injury , so I didnot go to the hopsital. Now I feel little pain in my back.
Can I make any claim based on the pain?
It happened about 5 days before. So if I go to hospital now, will that cover my medical bill.
( I have personal injury coverage up to 25 grand)
Is there any way to avoid any payments to the bank ( based on total loss value and gap insurance ).
If possible, any way to get extra buck to get another car ?
P.S : It was my fault, but I had full coverage.
I have GAP insurance from dealer and also I had mistakenly purchased similar insurance from progressive ( have two insurace of same type for gap coverage).
Since it is marked Total Loss, they will not return back my car, so I am trying to find any way to avoid payments.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions/opinions
