Your suggestion is higly appreciated.

1. Graduated in December 2010
2. Opt started Feb 2011
3. Worked for 3 months March-May
4. Sick leave without pay May-July
5. Unemployed after August

Now I am trying to apply for change of status to H-4.

Do you have any idea if USCIS will look for unemployed status during this May-Oct time?

 From my experience, they don't care. All they care about is if you have overstayed after 60 days of your OPT expired. Other than that, they don't really care if you had a job or not during the OPT period.
