Hello Sajha user, I am very confused right now not sure what to do with my life. I already completed my degree in Accounting from Nepal. Not sure should i pursue Accounting or should i choose different field which have a Job opportunity. I don't want to spend lots of time and money if i am not sure that will get me a Job. Is there any training i can take for example, training for 6 months or something that i can take and get into the career ? no Dhoti consultancy please. Your suggestion will be appreciate. Thank you in advance

Where are you right now? As you mentioned that you had your A/cing degree from Nepal and you dont need any Dhoti consultancy. I suppose you are in USA . What did you do in this gap period? Are you going to school or engaged in some sort of jobs here in USA? If you don't mind then, can you disclose those stuffs here in this forum?

Since you have a green card, you don't have to worry about the golden question - "Do you need a sponsorhip ?"
I know that you dont want to spend more time, money and also dont want to go through the Dhoti Consultant. Thats quite a checklist but not impossible though. It's better if you be flexible too
Couple of notes:
- Post your real resume online.
- Always apply directly to the companys websites. Dont just post the resume on career-builder/monster/indeed/dice etc and sit idle. I know its time consuming ( might take 15-30 mins) to apply for a job via company's website. You have to login/create an a/c... But you have to do it.
- Get some certificates related to your degree. Since I am not from your field i might not know more about your certifications (may be SAS, SAP..)
- I'm sure other sajha users would definitely reply to your thread.

Yeap, Try to find out if you're eligible for CPA. I highly doubt it but since you've already copleted your Master's you might still need to take some classes or something. Get a CPA degree and your life is set. Don't overthink.
