Is Egypt heading to democracy or another army rule as Mubarak did 3 decade ago ? The only organised pary was and is  Muslim Brotherhood and it was and is  very active then and Now.

Is it  just the regular hurdle every nation  has to face before achieving democracy ?

I am tired of hearing this rhetoric of democracy that US and England claim to advocate. Each country has its own unique geo-political aspects and thus, the the democratic system  the west tries to instill might not work. Just look at Nepal- What have we achieved with our so called Democracy. In the middle East, its even more cryptic. All those dictators were puppets of US in the first place, now the rhetoric of democracy will push their countries to be governed by radical islam. I guess, things do go around in circles.

It is just the power in the name of Politics, Khemer Killed over 2 millions for what ?   I do not think that many were killed during all those over 5 months demonstration in Egypt, they killed 35.

They trumph go Mubarak , now they are rallying and souting "Go Army" , may in future they will rally " go Muslim brotherhood" an on going efforts.

We can not do anything about other nations political systems otherthan discussion. BUT how do you take that thier "own unique geo-political aspects"  tunns to genosite.

For the west democracy is an irreversible historical trend and it will be at their own peril if they try to stand against such growing popular demands but for the most of the islamic countries democracy is 'freedom-coated' toxic ideology of the west. Only handful of islamic countries enshrines democratic values such as Turkey, indonesia, and some west african countries but most of them are not ready to absorb the basic values of modernism and democracy therefore leadership remains authoritarian and islam is the ultimate source of law. thats why islam and democracy is incompatible.

Democracy doesnt come in package so you can distribute overnight nor it comes with tomohawk missiles or rocket propelled grenades. Even for american it took 500 years to be fully democratic forget about the Britain. There must be a different ways of bringing 'islamic democracy' in the middle east or in any islamic countries but try to impose western style democracy is simply the naivity and western hegemonism.

Is it really not compatible or the ruler or the religious leader wanted to make it that way?

Islamic people do not want women be given many freedoms as men? Ruling starts from home and ment rule over women and keep in slavery and slavery minds are always weak. I do not think they are worried about anything other than losing grip on WOMEN.

The current Arab uprisings or so called ' Arab spring' are not only a fight against economic disparity and social injustice but also a fight for identity and dignity. It is the effort made by Arab people to seek modernity and regain their rightful place in the world. The Arab countries dont necessarily have to embrace western democracy. Religious and cultural traditions will continue to have an impact on the future political lanscape of the region. Hence, it is more important for them to develop their own type of democracy, encouraging greater political participation and power distribution. The Arab uprising are home-grown movements, an independent quest for better future rather than a copycat version of western democracy therefore islam and western style of democracy doesnt necessarily to be compatible.
