Since your status was F***ed and you never attended college. You should start packing your bags and go to Nepal.

What will you do with Green Card ?

I don't see you doing anything better in US. So just go back to Nepal

I think in current situation, your spouse needs to have Citizenship to get you green card. I am not an expert. Just answering seeing things around.

With current processing times, around 3 years to get green card by marrying a green card holder. You need to maintain the legal status till you get EAD card or green card whichever is earlier.

Ark, is that really true? (a GC holder's spouse only needing to maintain her status till she got her EAD)?

US Returnee, I don't see the need for such snide remarks.

@ riddle , thanks for the support , us returnee is a true nepali , u know why ?

coz , we nepali people are good at pulling legs and shit ....... i would have gone to school but some personal things came along and couldnt attend the school...... which doesnt mean that i didnt wanted to go to school. If "us returnnee" is really a us returnee than he must be out of status filed an asylum , got rejected then he dint see any points of living here so he left us. Or may be he was just out of status and got deported to nepal. If he is not us returnee , he cant see any nepali trying to be better.

how could he just judged me ? i am an master degree holder in nepal, but life dragged me here for dream of better life which  been a total lie in my case,.

hope i will be through this problem ...... but being a true nepali i am expectin more us returnee in all of our life .......

it takes almost two years, unless you get DENIED by the USCIS, especially if you are using VAWA and are a marriage fraud girl. then u will be sent home to your fan club! good luck!

She can apply a citizenship at 4 years 9 months + citizenship process about 5months + your process about 3month total 5yrs 5 month  less(-) time she is being GC holder(say a year n half), final expected time about 4years

. But, She can apply you as spouse of GC holder (F2A) and
Currently NVC(National Visa Center) is working on August 2010.So, it's 2 yrs and few months back+processing time(3month)= around 3 years.
