should I apply for OPT extension even though my job doesn't fall under STEM program? some says it is just luck. They dont go through everything in detail as long as the company is E-verified. But then scared, what if they find that out.
So go back to school or give a chance?

I dont think you can apply for OPT extension, its not about whether they will find out or not. Your school needs to issue you a new I-20 for your extension. And I am pretty sure they will not issue you one as they know that you dont have a STEM degree. Your application will not be accepted.

I don't think this is a good idea. you mentioned that it is a luck, but have you really found someone being lucky in this case or just heard?
