I am traveling to Nepal this summer. Where can I get Nepali rupees as I will be needing it as soon as I land in Nepal. Can I exchange dollar with Nepali rupees at TIA?

There is a bank counter before clearing immigration and few more after baggage claim

Im not sure if you order Nepali Rupees but you can order foreign currency online through your bank

I know the bank of america does provide you the Nepali currency. It might takes some days for process. I believe other banks does it too.

Thank you all for your information. I have bunch of old Nepali Rupees with Gyanendra's face on it. I guess it's useless now.

I would suggest better not to flaunt any $'s in the airport area or outside. Be alert about your stuff until you reach to your destination. won't hurt asking some of the relatives, friends to pick you up.
Taking taxi from outside of the airport area rather than inside would be much cheaper and safer.
Just sharing what I know. Have a good journey.
