Unsafe traveling practices are rampant in Nepal.

Shown by the very top picture, Nepal Railways trains have tremendous advantage over Shinkansen on flexibility in terms of passenger hauling and for dual (cargo + passenger) purpose. You won't be seeing Japanese farmers hauling sacks of rice from Japanese countryside to markets in Tokyo or Oshaka or Kyoto or to anywhere else in Japan in Shinkansen rail cars.

On-board laundry facility : As one of pictures above show, on-board laundry drying is readily available and strung laundry across rail cars on Nepal Railways trains could also serve as sun shade when travelling during hot and sunny days. Such features are not available on-board Shinkansen trains at all. Shinkansen trains simply can't match the versatility of Nepal Railways trains.
