I have an H1B, still I applied for TPS status, and get all the documents like EAD, Travel Doc, and TPS Status. I have all the documents approved. My H1B will expire in Sep 30, 2016 and have not file for extension. I am planning to travel to Nepal after Sep 30 with the Travelling Doc that I have through TPS(this expires in DEC). I would like to know the process involved in travelling with this Travelling Doc. Do I have to do some paperwork before going to Nepal beside this travelling doc? What should I do while getting back? Do I have to contact the US consulate in Nepal for returning? or I simply can use this Travelling doc to get in?
I would like to know the process involved in it, so that I can travel in peace.
And I would like to have a suggestion from the people who have travelled Nepal using this Travelling Doc and who have witness this process though their close friends, families and relatives.
Thank you for your help.
