IF ji.
At Sajha, you get two kinds of reactions.
(1) Personal
(2) Issue-based
On the personal front, (1) people who like you, (2) people who dislike you, (3) people who dislike you for what your background is, and, most common, (4) people who like themselves, so even when they pretend to be talking about others and issues, they are really talking about themselves.
On the issues, the four categories you quote are pretty comprehensive.
You have every right to be a monarchist. That right is given to your within the broad democratic framework. Curiously, in the monarchical setup, a similar right for a democrat is not protected, was not.
And you have made it very clear at Sajha that you are a monarchist. And that is fine. You are exercising your right. But your interaction with Sitara was bordering toward the personal, clouded in all the seeming polite words, and references to the "teacher." Frankly, it came across as patronizing.
So if you are a monarchist, and Sitara is the other pole perhaps, and both of you are going to stick to your guns, one is then drawn to the verbal details. Sitara is much more articulate than you, comes with more readable pieces.
Differences in opinion are just fine, that is what Sajha is all about. But let's keep off personal nagging.
And let's get back to the issues.
So what was the latest nice thing you had to say about King G, again!
