Marlon Brando died on July 1st. Anyone who has watched him as Don Corleone, the elder mafiosi statesman, on "The Godfather" knows him as one of the greatest actors of all time. His mysterious character on Apocalypse Now, or the angry-young-man in "A Streetcar Named Desire" (based on Tenessee Williams' play) or the sensual role in "Last Tango in Paris" have been well known. I read "in cold blood" by capote a year or so back. Almost changed my major to criminology then :). As for Brando, the legend lives on. Interestingly, i have only watched tits n bits of godfather...saving it for one of the foggy days out here. The only Brando movie I remember watching is "The island of Dr. Moreu" also starring val kilmer, which my friend reluctantly watched jus cause Brando was in it. Now i know why :)
