Bird Watching
-----------------

I don't know where
the birds go to die.
I have never seen,
a crow fall down
in mid-flight.
Not the hunted birds;
the free wheeling ones,
that die natural deaths.

Do they have a place
where they wait when their
wings tire and their talons tremble?
Or do they despise us so much
that they hide their dead?
Can they keep on flying
till they crossover to the other side?
When I watch birds,
these thoughts don't seem proper
on the face of their beauty.
But these questions
do dart across my mind.

Nice One MG Myer...!!!

Have you ever felt the victory on watching that solitude of keen eyes of Eagles up in the sky up high, rather than the gregarious, dull eyes of group of crows up in the wire.

There is so much beauty lies on that solemn, silence and solitude whenever I watch that brids up in the sky, up high....!!!

Bird watching is very intresting and amazing thing. You cant believe how much u learn from these birds. Let me take instance, Mr. leonardo da vinci...he was so obssed by nature that he start to watch fish, birds and insects deeply. He then came with such a invention of all the time like..he thought of submarine, parachute, helicopter and even aeroplane. This guy was genius coz he was keen in nature. He even use to bring bird and check his mechanisim. They didnot have aerodyanmis theory but he proponded such a research ppl still amused by this thoughts. He stands no 1. biggest brain in the world still....

I love bird watching as well. Ppl dont believe me but i use to go to zoological garden during my breaks when i was working in hong kong island. I am lucky enough to live in such a nice island called lantau which consits of 500 diff kind of bird species , 1000 kinds of butterflies and 800 water buffalo preserved here. Last time i saw this whole bunch of sparrow migrating and i amazed to know that these migrating birds are genetically build up with compass, sense of direction and even they travel 1000 miles they still mantain there body flight. This still amuse scientist" how is it possible"? If they are small birds they take short cut route via land using brillantly back wings. If they are big birds they can fly like concorde without using too much flapping wings. They fly whole nite and rest in day time. It is amazing how this bird fly from europe to carribean south africa and make there way back. I am totally fasinated with one bird , it is eagle owl...i saw that other day wow....
