Memories of straining strings of wispy notes,
Entwined in impeccable harmony.

caressed by fingers, long immobile.

The plectron's bloodied my fingers,
compositions of disharmony,

'With a book in one hand and a sitar in the other, I'll go by the lake on a spring day break. Once my eyes get tired with the books, I'll put the belly of the baja in my lap and pull it's strings in those forgotten tune' ho ki kya ho. J hos, don't pull them so hard that your fingers bleed.
I made a summery of what I understood from your poems. I would write a critical analysis of it if I understood what it meant. Anyways, same old habit of praising your works. I couldn't help repeating it after reading your poem, what to do.

why don't you try ebay. i bought a new guitar recently for $300 less than the regular retail price. i am guessing you are interested in eastern sitar/jazz, so i can't help you on the jazz fusion CD's.. i've actually never listened to eastern jazz fusion. but i looooove south american latin jazz, with the wonderful bassanova rhythms.

i love the funky sitar mix new music pass on the info if you catch a good one....i'm sick n tired o f norah jones and hey did ya'l get to hear the song yet....ummm...it goes like ..we're 2 ordinary people...we dunno which way to go....god its one horny beitch of the time..aiiit boyz..you take cares...

Zalim; someday I hope to buy one perhaps, on ebay (once I figure out how it's done.) Indeed, an interest in Eastern fusion. So bassanova for you eh? Well, I listened to some acid jazz on the bassanova rhythm. Sounded pretty lively. Haven't heard the bolero and the mariarchi fusions though.
As for the other, try Pepsi, next time!

Hushpuppy: Try Salt Rain. It's an Eastern fusion with Susheela Rahman's sultry voice. "Trust In Me", one intoxicating number. She won the BBC awards, I believe.

Thanks John! Talvin Singh's (a classically trained tabla artist) tabla fusion, rocked the clubs of UK at one time. He's a bit on the trendy side, though.
