Maoists kill six including 1-yr-old child KOL Report
KATHMANDU, June 14 - The Maoist rebels on Monday killed six innocent civilians including a minor in Dhangadi.
Our correspondent quoted the security source as saying that the Maoists killed the people after abducting them from their rented apartment nearby an Armed Police Force, the APF, battalion at Banheda VDC.
Three wives of the security personnel and two of their family members including a one-year-old child were killed by the Maoists in a nearby jungle.
According to the sources, the killed people were identified as Radha Devi Singh, Durga Devi Aiyar and Laxmi Shah, the wives of three APF personnel. The rebels also killed Dipendra Shah, the one-year-old son of Laxmi Shah.
Dead body of an unidentified civilian was also found at the site, the sources added.
Their bodies were recovered this morning. (snn/dds)
