The Diarrhoea movement is slowly coming into the Nepali Political mainstream. In the past year they have claimed over 600 lives in Nepal. The Maoist leaders have acknowledged the new contender in Nepali democracy. The Diarrhoea movement is ruthless in their killings just as the Maosts, killing new born babies, old and weak people.

In addition to fighting with oppression from the King, the bloodsucking politicians and the maoists, now the general population have another adversary in thier path for a better life.

22 Nepalese Die Of Diarrhoea And Undiagnosed Disease

KATHMANDU, June 15 (Bernama) -- At least 14 people died of diarrhoea and eight others died of undiagnosed disease in two different districts of far-western Nepal, the Xinhua news agency reported Wednesday.

"More than 14 people died of diarrhoea in Toleni village of Doti district in the last three weeks," it quoted Hikmat Bahadur Bogati, an official at district health office as telling reporters.

About 80 people in the village are seriously ill and there is no medicine for them, he noted.

"A health worker team has already been dispatched to the epidemic affected area," he added.

Xinhua also reported that eight civilians died from an undiagnosed disease in Bajura district in the past one week.

"Eight people died of an undiagnosed disease that spread in Barbise, Naubise, Toli and Kailashmandau village," said Deepak Shah, acting chief of the district health office.

About hundreds of local people have been inflicted with the disease, he noted, adding, "We can't do anything about the undiagnosed epidemic as there is no medicine."
