Gyanendra loves happy fridays, most of his surprising move comes on fridays.....

so here is anothe surprise friday at our door step again..

Whom will he choose for CJ? will international comunity accept this illegal appointment of CJ?

CJ retiring Sharma today

With Chief Justice (CJ) Hari Prasad Sharma retiring today, King Gyanendra has called on him to chair a meeting of the constitutional council Friday to make recommendations for the appointment of the new CJ.

According to state run Radio Nepal, it was stated in a notice issued by the Press Secretariat of His Majesty the King Friday.

After holding the top post of the judiciary for seven months, CJ Sharma is retiring from his post owing to age. The age limit for chief justices is 65.

In an absence of a prime minister who is the chairman of the constitutional council, the council had failed to name a successor to Sharma or even to hold a meeting. According to reports, the senior-most SC Justice Dilip Kumar Poudel is set to take over the top job at the Supreme Court. nepalnews.com pd July 29 05

"... King Gyanendra has called on him to chair a meeting of the constitutional..." what does this phrase mean?

Does he call himself to go some where?

"Ok I HMG of Nepal call you chairman of cabinet gyanendra to come to this meeting"

this sounds crazy...
