hiya folks. i was just wondering why the good folks over at gbnc have decided to hold the dashain party on a monday. a monday? monday seems to me like the worst possible day for a party. i've seen a bunch of ads for dashain parties in various other parts of the country, and none of them are doing it at the beginning of the week. i dont live in/around boston, but this ad on the front page caught my fancy, and i now have this burning desire to know...

anyway, that's like saying: "well, i went shopping and found these shirts that were a bit small for me. since only these small shirts were available at the store, i'll buy them and try to squeeze into them when i have to put them on." i'm thinking, "why not go to another store?"

in the whole city of boston, they could only find a place for monday? i am just wondering whether turnout is less important than just hosting a party even if only 20 ppl show up.
