Please Advise!!!

I have been working in a non-profit org. as a fulltime employee in OPT(f1) stutus. My pay check comes with deduction of social security and Medicare tax. I talked with my employeer they said in full time job I need to pay the all taxes no matter of status. One of my friend from India told me we are not supposed to pay FICA in OPT. Does any who have the detail information about it?

u only pay Fed and state taxes when u r on F1/ OPT ..
if u have H1B/ GC / PR then u have to pay SS and Medcare...
even if they have taken SS and Medcare ..
u can see this in ur w-2..
u can claim it back.. it usally takes about 6 months but u will get that back..
its worth trying coz it would atleast be around 600 if u worked fulltime..

I had tuition waiver while I was in grad scool. I just got the letter for "tax return" from my school. Do I have to indicate the scholarship fund for tax purposes. Though I didn't care in 1st year tax return. This time I have received the paper for year 2005 second year.

I am scared, Bharera patuada khaire le pheri dherai tirna lagaune ho ki??

Does anyone have any idea about it?????
