SPA should say YES to gyane's offer for now. I am confused that why these leader can't do any action ? if they can't do any action, why are they called leader of nation. 15 people died for nthing till now. SPA should select a PM and then go to power and then reinstate the house then call maoist for lay down of their arms completely under UN and call for election of constitution assembly.

Now if SPA goes to form gov gyane can't force them to quit. gyane will be in pressure frm people. So, whats the problem now ?

I know SPA leaders are scaered of the crowd now we see in the streets of KATH. They have to face the crowd and tell them that "this is our roadmap, help us". Right at this situation we lack a leadership upon whom this crowd of now can rely.

I don't understand why Kantipur is so negative on the matter of chossing PM by SPA? Do kantipur even knows or can predict what gonna happen now? its not the time for bloodbath its time to move forward with political reconcile. Its not about saving king "fuc*k king" i don't like him, but its time to move ahead. its not the time for now to throw stone, bricks but rather than that its time to make our economic growth double digit. Its not the time to fight. its the time for peace.

so SPA use your brain, people are with u. You need to have courage how u gonna use the crowd. Use ur brain, if u got one.
let the people choose the fate of king, so act fast SPA if u love this nation NEPAL

lal salam
democratic reb. of nepal

I agree 100%. But I hear that there is a disagreement on the SPA itself. Don't know who is guiding them.

It is time these SPA leaders show that they have the courage to lead the crowd. If they are afraid of the crowd they are supposedly leading themselves, can we still call them leaders? Don't these leaders have any responsibility towards the thousands of people who are out on the street willing to give their life, to the women who were taken away by the police in Thimi, to the children who have died on the street, to the average nepalis who do not have access to food and medical supplies in kathmandu right now? These leaders need to SHOW people what they are dying for ? What is their road map? i know everyone is chanting the word, "ghanatantra" and "constituent assembly" - i do not myself know what and how the modalities of the constituent assembly is going to occur during the transition of power - in case the king steps down.

They need to answer the questions of people, " What next?", "where will you take the country next after I give up my son, my wife, my husband, my mother, my father?" "Who is going to make sure that the transition of power in the country will not be less chaotic and not tainted by blood?"

Yes, right now the king and the government are responsible for the brutality on the streets but aren't these leaders too? Aren't the Maoist too who are supporting the protests and at the same time busy using hospitals and private homes as shields for their attacks? Were not they supposed to be supporting the crowd and abiding by what the crowd decides?

People in the street had gone out on the streets initially because of the rage, frustration, and injustice they had experienced for years. But now the mob mentality has gone out of control - they need to show rationality and the true reason they had descended on the streets in the first place. The were there to demand a Nepal free of violence and fear and somehow they are blindly asking for the king to abdicate without thinking what will happen next. Who will control the military and the police after the King steps down. Would the maoists be as pliable as they are claiming to be while making the constituent assembly? Who will actually take charge of forming this new assembly? Wouldn't it be prudent to negotiate with the king right now and take up the offer and then pave the path for the constituent assembly. At this point, everyone is not budging from their demand - the king is not giving more than what he should have given, people are asking for something which may lead to more bloodshed, the political parties are standing behind the crowd, surfing on the crowd to see what happens next instead of taking charge of the situation.

In this tussle of power and ego, nepalis are getting killed , getting alarmed at the scarcity of food and other basic necessities, and are afraid of a possible anarchy where all of us will get affected. Weren't the Nepalis supposed to be the main agenda of this revolution??? Is that happening at all? We need to start thinking clearly and rationally.
